TOMAHAWK TX

Future Record Holder for Power Density AND Efficiency!

Because big power deserves fuel efficiency too

Imagine:
Airplane travel at half the fuel usage
Heavy trucking travel at 2/3 of the fuel usage
Heavy shipping at 2/3 of the fuel usage
Recreational marine engines at half the fuel usage
Efficiency sedans at 100mpg

Projected Specifications:

69% projected max BTE
220 lbs
29.5” Height x 19.8″ Width
Peak Power: 8300 shaft hp @ 12,500 RPM

Peak Torque: 3500 ft/lb
Active Flex capability between standard gasoline and hydrogen

The Tomahawk Turbine (TX) is a whole new operating principle and requires a lot of explanation. Don’t hesitate to reach out! Below are some pics and guides to help understand how it works and how we can meet the projected specs.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is the projected max BTE?

69% BTE. Yes, really.

What is the projected horsepower and torque of the engine?

8300 shp @ 12,500 RPM

3500 ft/lb @ 12,500 RPM

How much does this thing weigh?

The engine is projected to weigh less than 250 lbs

Won’t this be a nightmare to seal?

No. Since all combustion chambers build the same pressure at the same time (unlike the Wankel, Liquid Piston & Omega 1, Etc.) a “Jam Seal” effect is created that reduces the potential blowby by 50% right off the top. Adding High cycling speed, low heat rejection and even heat distribution the, TTX is uniquely capable of running efficiently without any constant contact seals especially @ speeds above 1000 rpm.

What fuels can it run?

Our first prototypes will run on 85 octane pump gas. But we built enough flexibility in effective compression ratio and variable exhaust timing to flex the same engine to multiple fuels all the way from Jet-8 to Hydrogen. It would take new injectors and control logic, but the base principle is operable through a wide range of fuels. It is a turbine after all.

Can I buy one?

We are still in the fundraising and building the first prototypes stage after completing our feasibility study in CAD. We are building extra prototypes so we can sell some of them after collecting the data we want. They will be expensive, as expected of a new to the world engine principle with record setting power and efficiency. Once we prove it and shatter the records, feel free to put your hat in for one of the prototypes.
